E09 — Gas valve connection fault

What does E09 mean?

The boiler has detected a problem with the electrical connection to the gas valve, which controls gas flow to the burner.

  • Loose or faulty cable connection between the main control board (PCB) and the gas valve.
  • Problem with the gas valve plug.
