E09 — Gas valve connection fault

What does E09 mean?

The boiler has detected a problem with the electrical connection to the gas valve, which controls gas flow to the burner.

• Loose or faulty cable connection between the main control board (PCB) and the gas valve.
• Problem with the gas valve plug.
• Faulty main control board (PCB).

   Press the 'Reset' button on the boiler for 1-3 seconds to attempt a restart.

   Ensure the main gas supply to your property is open and other gas appliances are working.
