E17 — Excessive foam detected

What does E17 mean?

Too much foam has been created during the wash cycle. This can be caused by using too much detergent or the wrong type of detergent.

• Using too much detergent
• Using incorrect detergent for load size
• Detergent stored improperly
• Detergent placed in wrong compartment
• Porous laundry type

   Store detergent in a closed, dry, and cool place.

   Use less detergent for porous items like tulle.

   Adjust detergent amount based on laundry quantity and soil level.

   Ensure detergent is in the correct compartment.

   Run the 'Drum Cleaning' program with the machine empty, or use a 'Cotton 90C' cycle if 'Drum Cleaning' is not available.

   After running a short program without detergent, check the machine. If the issue persists, call service.
