Warning Z1 Driving failure on compressor — Compressor motor not synchronizing

Bosch · Compress 7000 Heat Pumps

What does 5350 mean?

The compressor motor failed to synchronize after five start attempts. This could be due to cabling issues, oil or liquid in the compressor, a bad sensor reading, or incorrect rotary encoder settings.

Common Causes

  • Bad cabling connection between the inverter and compressor.
  • Oil or liquid present in the compressor during a start attempt.
  • Bad temperature reading from compressor sensor TR1.
  • Improper setting of rotary encoders (A- and P-selectors) on the I/O module.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check the cabling and connections between the inverter and the compressor for any loose wires.

  2. 2

Verify that the A- and P-selectors (rotary encoders) on the I/O module are set according to your wiring diagram.

  3. 3

If the warning persists, contact a qualified technician to check the compressor sensor TR1 reading and inspect for oil/liquid in the compressor.
