What does Programme not starting mean?

You have selected a programme, but it will not begin. This can be caused by the start button not being pressed, the door not being fully closed, or active childproof lock/delay settings.

Common Causes

  • You have not pressed Start / Reload.
  • Door is not closed.
  • Childproof lock is activated.
  • - Finished in + is activated (delay start).
  • Laundry is caught in the door.

    Ensure you have pressed the 'Start / Reload' button after selecting your programme.

    Check that the appliance door is fully closed and latched; open and close it firmly if needed.

  3. 3

    Verify if the childproof lock is activated and deactivate it if necessary (refer to Page 37).

  4. 4

    Check if a delay start ('- Finished in +') is active and adjust or cancel it (refer to Page 22).

  5. 5

    Open the door and remove any laundry that might be caught, then close the door again.
