What does The door cannot be opened mean?

The appliance door remains locked, indicating either a 'Rinse Hold' status, high internal temperature, or excessive water level, or a power failure.

• Rinse Hold (---) is activated.
• The temperature is too high.
• Water level is too high.
• Power failure.

   If 'Rinse Hold' is active, select 'Spin' or 'Drain' and press 'Start / Reload' to continue the programme.

   Wait until the internal temperature has dropped.

   If the water level is too high, select a suitable programme for draining.

   In case of a power failure, use the emergency release to open the door (refer to Page 45).
