What does Hard lockout mean?

A hard lockout indicates a more serious issue, such as a module fault or open high limit, that prevents the furnace from restarting automatically. The system must be manually reset.

• Persistent safety switch activation
• Control module malfunction

   Turn the furnace power switch OFF, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back ON.

   If the furnace still does not operate or immediately goes into hard lockout, contact a service technician.
