2/e/

Locking fault 2/e/ (2/0/7) - System pressure too low (< 3 psi / 0.2 bar)

Buderus · Logamax plus Boilers

What does 2/e/ mean?

The heating system's water pressure is below the minimum required level of 3 psi (0.2 bar). This will prevent both heating operation and domestic hot water. As a locking fault, the boiler will try to resume once pressure is restored.

Common Causes

  • Insufficient water in the heating system
  • Leak in the system
  • Faulty pressure sensor

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check the system pressure gauge (if available) to confirm low pressure.

  2. 2

Top up the heating system water as per the boiler's user guide.

  3. 3

If pressure drops frequently or the fault persists, contact a qualified service technician to check for leaks or a sensor issue.
