EP - 'OK' button pressed for 5 seconds (reset) or low voltage cable short circuit

What does EP mean?

This fault occurs either if the 'OK' button was held for an extended period (triggering a reset) or if there is a short circuit in a low voltage cable (e.g., STB or gas valve cable) to the frame.

   If the error code is blinking, press the RESET button to restart the boiler. This may resolve the issue if it was a false trigger.

   Switch off the boiler and cut the main voltage supply. Check the low voltage cables (STB, gas valve cable) for any signs of damage or short circuits to the boiler's frame. Replace any damaged cables.

   Ensure all cable connections are secure and free from moisture or debris that could cause a short circuit.

   If the issue persists, and you've checked the cables, the electronic board (PCB) might be defective. Turn off the boiler and cut the main voltage supply before any further action.
