WAIT

WAIT - Gradient Monitoring (Rapid overshooting of flow water temperature)

Buderus · Logamax Plus GB062 Boiler

What does WAIT mean?

This status indicates that the boiler's gradient control has detected a rapid increase in the flow water temperature, suggesting that the heating circuit might be blocked. The heating circuit will be temporarily blocked for 2 minutes as a safety measure.

Common Causes

  • Closed or partially closed maintenance valves (flow/return)
  • Blockages or damages in the main (WB6) or plate heat exchanger
  • Blocked or faulty heating pump
  • Defective electronic board (PCB)

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check that the main maintenance valves (flow and return) for the heating circuit are fully open. If closed, open them.

  2. 2

Wait for 2 minutes to see if the boiler clears the WAIT status and resumes operation after the gradient control period ends.

  3. 3

An installer should check the main (WB6) and plate heat exchangers for any blockages or damage. If found, remove blockages or replace the affected parts.

  4. 4

If the problem persists, an installer should check the heating pump for blockages or replace it, as well as checking the electronic board (PCB) for defects.
