What does 56 mean?

This fault indicates that a temperature sensor (OAT-OCT Thermistor for 18VS,19VS/V-HP/AC, Greenspeed/Extreme, or a general temp sensor for Infinity/Evolution ODU units) is reporting values outside its normal operating range. This means an invalid reading.

  • Faulty temperature sensor (thermistor)
  • Damaged or loose wiring to the sensor
  • Sensor disconnected or shorted
  • Environmental conditions outside of system design limits (extreme cold/heat)
