Error 39 - Configuration mismatch

What does 39 mean?

This error signifies a mismatch in configuration settings between the ESEC-UIB (Electronic Surface Element Control User Interface Board) and the Induction Housing Assembly. A reconfiguration process is usually required to resolve this.

   Disconnect power to the cooktop, wait 30 seconds, and reapply power.

   Simultaneously activate both the right front and right rear On/Off keys for approximately 5 seconds until '8.8' appears on the display.

   Once '8.8' is shown on both left and right displays, release the right side On/Off keys and then simultaneously activate both left side front and rear On/Off keys for approximately 5 seconds.

   The displays should show walking dashes during reconfiguration; when displays turn off, the unit is ready to operate.

   If the reconfiguration fails, replace the induction generator housing in the cooktop.
