F10 - Potential runaway oven condition

What does F10 mean?

The oven control system has detected that the oven might be overheating or in a runaway state. This could be due to a shorted relay or a faulty temperature sensor probe.

Common Causes

  • Shorted relay in the control board
  • RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) sensor probe is faulty

    If the oven is overheating, immediately disconnect power to the appliance.
