What does SAb / Sb mean?

When the Sabbath feature is properly activated, "SAb" appears in the oven display and "Sb" in the cooktop displays. While active, the oven control will not beep or show further display changes.

Common Causes

  • The Sabbath feature has been intentionally activated by holding the HI and LO pads for 3 seconds

    Be aware that the oven will not provide audible tones or display changes while in Sabbath mode.

  2. 2

    Only the CANCEL, HI (+hi), and LO (-lo) keypads will function during this mode.

  3. 3

    To deactivate, press and hold both the HI (+hi) and LO (-lo) pads for at least 3 seconds until "SAb" disappears.
