What does Water not entering mean?

The washer may not fill with water, or it may fill very slowly, if there is an inadequate water supply, low water pressure, or blockages in the inlet system such as kinked hoses or clogged screens.

Common Causes

  • Water supply is not adequate in the area
  • Water supply faucets are not completely open
  • Water is being used elsewhere in the house
  • Water pressure is below 30 psi (260 kPa)
  • Water inlet hoses are kinked
  • Water inlet screens are plugged
