Red LED flashes twice — Motor thermistor open or shorted

¿Qué significa Red LED 2 flashes ?

The motor PTC thermistor circuit shows a resistance value indicating it is open or shorted. This stops the compressor. The system attempts to reset after 30 minutes if the thermistor returns to a normal resistance range. A lockout occurs after 6 hours of the fault condition.

• Faulty thermistor wiring harness
• Loose connections at the module or thermistor

   Check for loose connections at the module and thermistor.

   Inspect the thermistor wiring harness for continuity.

   Check for an open thermistor circuit.

   Allow 30 minutes for automatic reset if resistance is normal.

   If locked out, cycle power to the module.
