A filter status indicator on the display means it is time to perform maintenance on the microwave's filters. This typically means cleaning the grease filter or replacing the charcoal filter.

• Grease filter is dirty
• Charcoal filter needs replacement due to usage time

   Clean the grease filters located on the underside of the microwave oven.

   Replace the charcoal filter behind the vent grille (cannot be cleaned).

   Touch Options or Setup control to reach the 'Filter Reset' submenu.

   Activate the reset function to clear the indicator.
