E37 - Outdoor unit heat exchanger thermistor failure (ThOR)

¿Qué significa E37 ?

This error indicates that one or more of the outdoor unit's heat exchanger thermistors (Tho-R1 to Tho-R6) is defective or has a poor connection.

Causas comunes

  • Faulty outdoor unit heat exchanger thermistor (Tho-R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, or R6).
  • Loose or corroded connections of the thermistor wiring on the outdoor unit PCB.
  • Open or short circuit in the thermistor wiring.

    Turn off the main power to the outdoor unit at the circuit breaker.

    Have a qualified technician inspect all outdoor unit heat exchanger thermistors (Tho-R1 to Tho-R6) and their wiring connections.

    The technician will check the resistance of each thermistor and ensure secure connections on the PCB.

    Replace any defective thermistors or repair wiring as needed by a professional.
