F96 — IPM overheating prevention

¿Qué significa F96 ?

The IPM temperature has reached 120°C, causing the compressor to stop. If this happens 4 times within 20 minutes, the Timer LED will blink, and F96 will be indicated.

• Overheating of the IPM (Intelligent Power Module)
• Poor ventilation to the outdoor unit
• Electrical issues with the IPM

   Ensure the outdoor unit has proper airflow and is not obstructed.

   Check that the unit is operating within its recommended ambient temperature range.

   Turn off the unit and let it cool.

   If the F96 error persists, a service technician should inspect the IPM and related components.
