The suction temperature sensor has failed, causing the unit to switch to electric elements for heating. The heat pump is disabled due to this sensor malfunction.

Check the wiring and sensor connections.
Measure the sensor's resistance with a multimeter and compare it to the Ohm chart.
Power down the unit and unplug the thermistor, then check resistance again to confirm the reading.
