The ECO (Energy Cut Off) high-temperature limit has tripped, disabling the heater due to excessively high water temperature. This requires service.

• ECO tripped due to high water temperature
• Heating element issue
• Thermostat or control board issue

   Check the resistance between the heating elements and ground.

   Check the resistance of the thermistors.

   If the elements and thermistors check out, the control board likely needs replacement.
