Error 455 — Overheated IPM of Fan1

¿Qué significa 455 ?

The IPM (Inverter Power Module) for Fan1 in the outdoor unit has overheated. This is a critical safety shutdown to prevent damage to the power electronics controlling the fan.

• Insufficient cooling for the IPM
• Faulty IPM component
• Poor thermal contact between IPM and heat sink
• Electrical overload on the fan circuit

   Turn off power to the outdoor unit immediately at the circuit breaker.

   Allow the unit to cool down completely for at least 30-60 minutes.

   CAUTION: This requires a professional. Check for any obstructions blocking airflow to the fan motor and its associated heat sink/IPM.

   Ensure the outdoor unit is clean and the condenser coils are not blocked.
