ee — Drive memory chip error

What does ee mean?

The drive board cannot detect or correctly read data from the memory chip, even when power is connected. This is shown as 'ee' on the ODU main board LED display.

Common Causes

  • Memory chip not installed on the drive board
  • Poorly welded or short-circuited lead or connector for the memory chip
