What does Drum cleaning warning mean?

A warning indicating that the drum cleaning program should be run. This program helps remove detergent residue and bacteria, and is recommended at least once a month or when the warning appears.

   Clean the dosing container, water supply hose, detergent dispenser, and rubber door gasket.

   Clean the pump filter (see chapter 'Cleaning the filter').

   Run the Drum cleaning program with an empty drum. Do not add detergent or softener. You can add spirit vinegar (approx. 2 dl) or sodium bicarbonate (1 tablespoon or 15 g) for effective descaling.
