What does 28-36 mean?

These codes indicate a failure in a liquid or gas temperature sensor connected to an indoor unit's Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV) circuit. The specific sensor affected is identified on the outdoor unit's Error Code Decal.

• Defective temperature sensor (liquid or gas)
• Loose or damaged sensor wiring
• Sensor resistance out of calibration
• Faulty PCB connection
