Difficulty docking

Difficulty docking with charging station — Mower cannot find or enter station

husqvarna · Automower 105

What does Difficulty docking mean?

The robotic lawn mower struggles to connect with its charging station. This can be due to incorrect installation of the boundary or guide wires, or an uneven surface where the station is placed. The mower may circle the station or miss the entrance.

Common Causes

  • Boundary wire not laid in a long straight line far enough from charging station.
  • Guide wire not inserted correctly into the slot at the bottom of the charging station.
  • Charging station is placed on a slope.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check that the charging station has been installed according to instructions on page 19, ensuring a long straight boundary wire leading to it.

  2. 2

Verify that the guide wire is perfectly straight and securely inserted into its slot under the charging station.

  3. 3

Place the charging station on a surface that is entirely level to ensure proper docking alignment.
