No loop signal

No loop signal — Mower cannot detect boundary wire signal

husqvarna · Automower 310/315/315x

What does No loop signal mean?

The mower displays a message indicating that it cannot detect the boundary loop signal. This can be due to power issues with the charging station, a problem with the boundary wire itself, or signal interference.

Common Causes

  • Power supply or low-voltage cable is disconnected or damaged
  • Boundary wire is not connected to the charging station
  • Break in the boundary wire
  • ECO mode is active and mower attempts to start outside charging station
  • Boundary wire is crossed when forming an island
  • Lost pairing between the mower and charging station
  • Interference from nearby metal objects or buried cables

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check that the charging station's LED indicator is lit. If not, verify the power supply is connected to a working wall socket and the low-voltage cable is securely attached to the charging station.

  2. 2

Inspect the boundary wire connectors at the charging station to ensure they are properly fitted and not damaged.

  3. 3

Check the charging station's LED indicator for a blue flashing light, which signals a break in the boundary wire. If so, locate and repair the break (see page 49, 52-53).

  4. 4

If ECO mode is active, ensure the mower starts from within the charging station by placing it inside, pressing START, and closing the hatch.

  5. 5

If islands are used, confirm the boundary wire is laid correctly around them (page 18).

  6. 6

Place the mower in the charging station and generate a new loop signal through the mower's menu (page 25).
