15 fault codes documented

F01

F01 - Motor circuit issue

This error indicates a short circuit in the motor control component (triac). This can prevent the motor from operating correctly and may be linked to internal motor or module problems.

F02

F02 - Motor jammed or speed sensor issue

This error suggests that the motor might be obstructed, preventing it from turning, or that its speed sensor (tacho) is not connected or working correctly. The drum may not rotate.

F03

F03 - Temperature sensor circuit fault

This indicates an issue with the NTC thermistor, which measures the water temperature. It might be a short circuit or an open circuit, leading to incorrect temperature readings.

F04

F04 - Water level sensor stuck on empty

This error means the pressure switch, which detects the water level, is reporting that the tub is empty, even if there might be water present, or there's a fault with the switch itself.

F05

F05 - Water level sensor stuck on full or drain pump blocked

This error suggests that the pressure switch is reporting the machine is full, potentially due to a blocked drain pump or a faulty switch. The machine may not drain water properly.

F07

F07 - Heater relay stuck on

This error indicates that the relay controlling the heating element is continuously 'on,' which can lead to overheating or other heating issues. The machine may not heat correctly or could overheat.

F08

F08 - Heater relay stuck on or pressure switch issue

This error indicates a heater relay stuck on, similar to F07, but also points to a possible issue with the pressure switch. This can lead to improper heating or water level detection.

F09

F09 - Control board setup error

This error indicates a problem with the electronic setup or memory (Eeprom) of the machine's main control board. This can prevent the machine from starting or operating correctly.

F10

F10 - Water level sensor not detecting water

This error means the pressure switch is not able to detect any water level changes, which can prevent the machine from filling or progressing through its cycle.

F11

F11 - Drain pump not working

This error indicates that the machine is unable to activate the drain pump, which means water cannot be removed from the drum. This will prevent the machine from completing its cycle.

F12

F12 - Control boards not communicating

This error indicates a loss of communication between the main electronic control boards within the appliance. This can prevent any functions from working or the machine from starting.

F17

F17 - Door lock malfunction

This error indicates a problem with the door locking mechanism, preventing the door from locking or unlocking correctly. The machine will not start if the door isn't securely locked.

F18

F18 - Communication error with 3-phase motor control

This error specifically indicates a communication problem related to the control system for a 3-phase motor. This often points to an issue with the power board.

Flashing DOOR / 5 beeps

Flashing DOOR indicator and repeated beeping - Door not closed properly

If the door is not closed securely prior to starting a program, the door lock will make approximately 5 'clunk' noises, and the display will show a flashing 'DOOR' message, accompanied by an audible beep every 5 seconds.

Flashing LED / Beeping noise (Option button)

Option button LED flashes and beeps - Option not available

When you try to select an option that is not compatible with the currently chosen wash program, the LED on the option button will flash, and you will hear a bleeping noise. This indicates an invalid selection.
