Error 8 — High compressor discharge temperature

What does 8 mean?

The temperature of the compressor's hot gas discharge is too high. The system may try to reduce compressor speed or adjust fan speed to correct this.

• Lack of refrigerant in the system
• Excessive heat in the conditioned space
• Restriction in the refrigeration circuit
• Overcharge of refrigerant
