What does Incorrect venting mean?

Improperly installed or taped vents, or using the wrong type of ducting, can lead to poor drying performance and create a fire hazard. The dryer must be vented to the outdoors.

  • Using plastic or thin foil ducting
  • Improper taping of vent joints
  • Unstable vent installation
  • Vent end not facing outdoors
