F14 — Water drainage fault with alarm and flashing light

What does F14 mean?

The dishwasher stops during a programme, an alarm tone sounds, and the water inlet/drainage indicator light flashes. 'F14' appears in the time display. There might be water left in the wash cabinet.

Common Causes

  • Water drainage fault.
  • Filter combination is dirty or blocked.
  • Drain pump is dirty or blocked.
  • Kinks or loops are present in the drain hose.
