Mitsubishi Electric · Air Conditioners
When the outdoor unit failure mode recall function is active, the indoor unit's upper lamp blinks once, then stays OFF for 2.5 seconds. This indicates that normal signals cannot be received from the inverter P.C. board for 3 minutes, or incorrect signals were received consistently.
Click steps to track your progress.
Ensure the failure mode recall function is active to observe the correct blinking pattern.
Turn off the power supply to the air conditioner, wait a few minutes, then turn it back on to attempt a reset.
Check all wiring connections between the indoor and outdoor units for miswiring or loose connections.
After troubleshooting, recall the failure mode again and press the EMERGENCY OPERATION switch to delete the memorized abnormal condition.
Release the failure mode recall function by turning OFF and ON the power supply, or by pressing the RESET button on the remote controller.
If the problem persists, contact a qualified service technician for further assistance.
