What does Beep tone when operating mean?

A beep tone is heard from the indoor unit when it successfully receives a signal from the remote controller and begins or changes its operation.

• The remote controller signal has been received.
• The unit is starting, stopping, or changing its mode/settings.
• Confirmation of a button press on the remote.
