4100 - Compressor current interruption (locked compressor)

What does 4100 mean?

The system has detected an interruption in the compressor current, which may indicate a locked compressor. This will cause the air conditioning system to automatically stop operating. This error code may be related to delay code 4350.

Common Causes

  • Compressor malfunction or internal fault.
  • Power supply issue to the compressor.
  • Mechanical obstruction causing the compressor to lock.

    Note the 4100 code displayed on your remote controller or the outdoor unit's LED.

    Turn off the main power supply to the outdoor unit at the circuit breaker.

  3. 3

    Wait at least 1 minute after LED1 and LED2 on the outdoor circuit board go out, then turn the main power supply back on.

  4. 4

    If the error persists, contact a qualified service technician to inspect the compressor and its electrical connections.
