4400 - Rotational frequency of outdoor fan motor abnormality

What does 4400 mean?

The system has detected an issue with the rotational speed of the outdoor fan motor, causing the air conditioning system to automatically stop operating. This error code may be related to delay code 4500.

Common Causes

  • Faulty outdoor fan motor.
  • Obstruction preventing the fan blades from rotating freely.
  • Issue with the fan motor's control circuit.

    Note the 4400 code displayed on your remote controller or the outdoor unit's LED.

    Turn off the main power supply to the outdoor unit at the circuit breaker.

    Visually inspect the outdoor fan for any obstructions (e.g., leaves, debris) and carefully remove them if safe to do so.

    Wait at least 1 minute after LED1 and LED2 on the outdoor circuit board go out, then turn the main power supply back on.

    If the error persists, contact a qualified service technician to inspect the outdoor fan motor.
