5102 - Liquid pipe temperature thermistor (TH22) or Suction pipe temperature thermistor (TH6) open/short

What does 5102 mean?

An open or short circuit has been detected in either the liquid pipe temperature thermistor (TH22) or the suction pipe temperature thermistor (TH6). This will cause the air conditioning system to automatically stop operating. This error code may be related to delay code 1211.

Common Causes

  • Faulty thermistor (TH22 or TH6).
  • Loose thermistor connection.
  • Damaged wiring to the thermistor.

    Note the 5102 code displayed on your remote controller or the outdoor unit's LED.

  2. 2

    Turn off the main power supply to the outdoor unit at the circuit breaker.

  3. 3

    Wait at least 1 minute after LED1 and LED2 on the outdoor circuit board go out, then turn the main power supply back on.

  4. 4

    If the error persists, contact a qualified service technician to inspect and test the thermistors and their connections.
