U8 (4400) - Outdoor fan trouble

What does U8 mean?

An issue with the outdoor unit's fan has been detected, which can impact heat exchange efficiency and system operation. The Mitsubishi Electric PUMY Air Conditioner system will stop operating.

• Malfunction of the outdoor fan motor
• Obstruction (e.g., leaves, debris) preventing the fan blades from turning
• Faulty outdoor fan capacitor
• Loose or damaged wiring to the outdoor fan
