When trying to add a new unit in the app, receiving a 'unit was not found' message means the Wi-Fi interface has not successfully connected or is not communicating with your home Wi-Fi network.

First, ensure the Wi-Fi interface is properly connected to your home Wi-Fi signal using the instructions on pages 7-9.
Verify the NET light and UNIT light (or LED1 and LED3 for MAC-558/559) are flashing correctly after successful network connection.
Double-check the MAC address and ID serial number entered in the app against the labels on the interface.
Ensure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi network as the interface for automatic field population in the app.
