The compressor light flashes to indicate an alarm has occurred in the cooling circuit. This means one of the pressostats has cut out. It may also indicate standby mode if the compressor is blocked.
Click steps to track your progress.
Check if the 'Compressor is operational/alarm' lamp is flashing.
If the lamp is flashing, a pressostat may have tripped. Locate the high pressure pressostat (usually accessible via the filter box).
Press the button on top of the high pressure pressostat to reset it.
If the problem persists, switch the heat pump off and then on again to clear the fault code.
Ensure mode '3' is not set, as this can cause related issues.
