What does External operating voltage mean?

External operating voltage (1x230V+N+PE) can be connected to the control system via the immersion heater circuit board. Specific terminal connections are required.

Common Causes

  • External voltage supply connected to AA1:X11
  • Specific wiring changes made on terminal block X2/X9 and X7:24
  • Use of a separate earth-fault breaker

    Ensure external operating voltage (1x230V+N+PE) is connected to AA1:X11.

  2. 2

    If using a separate earth-fault breaker, disconnect the blue cable from X7:24 and connect it to the enclosed top clamp with the operating zero.

  3. 3

    Connect a blue cable (min 0.75 mm²) between the top clamp and X11:N on AA1.

  4. 4

    Refer to the illustration for correct terminal connections (AA1:X2 to AA1:X9 if applicable).
