NIBE F1245 Ground Source Heat Pump
6 fault codes documented
Compressor does not start — No heating or hot water demand, or system lockout
The compressor may not start if there is no current demand for heating or hot water, or if the system is in a lockout period after a previous start.
High or distracting ventilation — Unadjusted ventilation or forced fan speed (NIBE FLM accessory)
If a NIBE FLM accessory is installed, high or distracting ventilation noise suggests the ventilation system may not be properly adjusted, or the fan speed is set to a forced mode.
LP ALARM (Low Pressure Alarm) — Low pressure in the climate system
The 'LP ALARM' indicates a low pressure condition within the climate system. This could affect the heat pump's ability to operate efficiently or provide heating.
Low or lack of ventilation — Reduced fan speed or blocked airflow (NIBE FLM accessory)
If a NIBE FLM accessory is installed, low or no ventilation indicates that the fan speed may be reduced, or there might be an obstruction in the ventilation system.
Red status lamp continuously — Malfunction or active alarm
When the status lamp is continuously red, a malfunction has occurred that the heat pump cannot resolve on its own. An alarm bell icon will also appear in the information window. You need to identify and reset the specific alarm.
Sensor Flt BTX — Sensor fault (temperature sensor)
A 'Sensor Flt BTX' alarm indicates a fault with one of the heat pump's temperature sensors. 'BTX' refers to a specific sensor, such as outdoor temperature, heat medium flow, heat medium return, hot water charging, brine in, brine out, or condenser out.
