H17 — Refrigerant suction pipe temperature sensor open circuit or short circuit

What does H17 mean?

The temperature sensor on the refrigerant suction pipe is faulty, either short-circuited or open. This prevents accurate temperature monitoring of the refrigerant.

• The suction pipe temperature sensor is damaged.
• Wiring to the sensor is loose or broken.
• The sensor connector is faulty.
