F23 — Outdoor Direct Current (DC) peak detection

What does F23 mean?

The system has detected a continuous peak in the DC current supplied to the IPM (Intelligent Power Module). This occurs if the condition repeats continuously for 7 times, causing the OFF/ON control panel LED to blink.

Common Causes

  • Defective outdoor PCB (Printed Circuit Board).
  • Faulty compressor.

    Turn off the power supply to the unit at the main breaker and wait at least 5 minutes before restoring power.

  2. 2

    Monitor the unit closely after restarting to see if the error reoccurs.

  3. 3

    If the error persists, contact a qualified technician to inspect the outdoor PCB and compressor.
