P1 - Not enough water flow

What does P1 mean?

The water heater is not detecting sufficient water flow to operate. This can happen if faucets are not opened fully or if there's an issue with water pressure.

• Low water pressure
• Faucets or fixtures not opened sufficiently
• Clogged water filter or aerator
• Partially closed water supply valve

   Ensure all hot water faucets are opened completely.

   Check that the main water supply valve to the unit is fully open.

   Clean any clogged faucet aerators or water filters.

   Increase water flow from fixtures if possible.
