    Shut off the main water supply line.

    Turn the filter cartridge knob 90 degrees counterclockwise to unlock and pull out the old cartridge.

  3. 3

    Insert a new Samsung-provided or approved filter cartridge and turn the knob clockwise to lock it.

  4. 4

    Press and hold the Ice Maker button on the main panel for 3 seconds to reset the filter lifecycle detector. The indicator will turn off.

  5. 5

    Open the water valve and run water through the dispenser for about 7 minutes to remove impurities and air.
