The interior light in the Refrigerator or freezer compartment is not turning on when the door is opened. This indicates a problem with the lamp itself, its connections, or the control system.
Click steps to track your progress.
Ensure the Refrigerator door is fully closed and then opened again to confirm the light should activate.
Gently check the area around the door for any obstructions that might prevent the door switch from sensing properly.
If comfortable, unplug the Refrigerator, then carefully check and re-insert all visible connectors on the main PCB (such as CN40, CN20) to ensure they are snug.
If the lamp still doesn't light up, the LED lamp itself may need replacement.
If the issue persists after checking connections and the lamp, contact service for diagnosis of the door switch or main PCB.
