Abnormal sounds or alarm — Stop riding and diagnose
If your KickScooter makes unusual noises or triggers an alarm, it's a sign of a potential issue. Do not continue riding; investigate the problem.
Beeps when Bluetooth connection successful — Connected to app
The KickScooter beeps to confirm a successful Bluetooth connection with the Segway by Ninebot app. The Bluetooth icon will also stop blinking and become solid.
Blinking Bluetooth icon — Waiting for connection
The Bluetooth icon on your KickScooter is blinking, indicating it is ready to connect to the Segway by Ninebot app. This is a normal status when the scooter is powered on and not yet paired.
Green LED on charger — Charging complete
The LED indicator on the Segway charger has turned green. This signifies that the KickScooter is fully charged and in trickle charge mode. You can now disconnect the charger.
Red LED on charger — Charging in progress
The LED indicator on the Segway charger is red, showing that the KickScooter is currently charging. Keep the scooter plugged in until charging is complete.
Scooter beeps occasionally after Power ON before activation — Needs activation
Your new KickScooter will beep periodically after being powered on. This indicates it has not yet been activated through the Segway by Ninebot app and is in a limited speed mode for safety.
