Overload: Axis cannot move or moves with difficulty

What does Overload mean?

The axis cannot move or moves with difficulty because of an overload condition. The drive may also issue an overload alarm.

• Insufficient guide lubrication (blocked pipe/nozzle, improper interval time)
• Guides/screws are blocked by machining waste
• Connection of the shaft coupling is not smooth and concentric

   Check whether the guide lubrication is sufficient, ensuring that the lubricating pipe/nozzle is not blocked and the lubrication interval time is set properly (not too long).

   Stop the machine and check whether the guides/screws are blocked by machining waste. Clean thoroughly if necessary.

   Check whether the connection of the shaft coupling is smooth and concentric.
