What does GFDI Fuse Open mean?

The Ground Fault Detection Interruption (GFDI) fuse inside the Sunny Boy is open or has cleared (blown). This fuse is crucial for protecting the PV system in the event of a ground fault. This is a warning message.

   Thoroughly troubleshoot the PV array to check for and clear any ground faults before replacing the fuse.

   Switch off the external DC disconnect for the Sunny Boy.

   Switch off the main AC circuit breaker for the Sunny Boy.

   Replace the GFDI fuse with a fuse of the exact same type and rating (Littelfuse KLKD 1 Amp, 600V AC/DC type).

   Re-enable AC and DC power after fuse replacement.
