SMA · Sunny Boy Series

What does Vac-Bfr, Vac-Srr mean?

The voltage of the AC grid is outside the acceptable operating range for the Sunny Boy. The inverter assumes the public grid is down and disconnects to prevent 'islanding'. This is a disturbance message.

Common Causes

  • Disconnected grid
  • Disconnected AC cable.
