F.13 - Warm start sensor/cylinder sensor short circuit

What does F.13 mean?

There is a short circuit in the warm start sensor or the cylinder sensor (NTC). This applies to boilers with integrated hot water generation or with an actoSTOR module (in combination with F.91).

Common Causes

  • NTC sensor is defective.
  • Short circuit in the cable harness.
  • Cable is shorting to the casing.

    Press the reset button on the boiler display up to three times to try and clear the fault.

  2. 2

    If you have integrated hot water generation, this points to a short circuit in the warm start sensor.

  3. 3

    If you have an actoSTOR module, this indicates a short circuit in the cylinder sensor (in combination with F.91).

  4. 4

    Contact customer service for diagnosis of the NTC sensor and cable harness.
